History of CTS
True to the motto: “To stand still is a step backwards”
For CTS Cremerius-Transport-Service GmbH, it all began in the tiny gatehouse of a former steel manufacturing unit. Rainer Cremerius got the wheels rolling as a truck-based forwarding company from the south of Duisburg.
After we opened our branch offices in Frankfurt(Oder) and in Chemnitz, the next step was to start with construction of our new Logistics Centre in Duisburg’s Parallel Port in 2007. Just three years later, the Duisburg location was expanded with a second heated warehouse and a 6000 m² tri-modal open storage space.

Thorben and Phillip Cremerius, the two sons of the company´s founder Rainer Cremerius, joined the Board of Directors on 01.07.2018.
